Hi all!
So, it’s that time of the year again for the Magical Readathon and this year, the creator, Book Roast, has developed her own world and it looks incredible! Check out the video below.
So the first part of the readathon begins September 1 to 30, where you have to read books to cross The Novice’s Path to enter Orilium, a magical school. The second part of the readathon starts in April, where you have to create your own character.

TBR
The Novice Path Entrance: Read a book with a map – The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
Ashtorn Tree: Read a book that keeps tempting you – The Watchmaker of Filigree St by Natasha Pulley
The Mist of Solitude: Read a standalone – Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
Ruin of the Skye: Read a book with supernatural elements – Beowulf by Unknown
Obsidian Falls: Read a mystery book – The Persistence of Memory by Jordan Castillo Price
Tower of Rumination: Read a five star prediction – Peter Cabot Gets Lost by Cat Sebastian
Orilium Academy Arc: Read a book with a school setting – A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Character creation
There’s also three more prompts to read books for, but you don’t need to complete these until April 2022. So I’ll be sharing my TBR for these prompts, but don’t think I’ll get the chance to read the books with the September readathon. I will be reading them all before April next year though!
But here’s my TBR for those books that I’ll eventually get to.
Urban: read a book set in a city or town – Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 by Cho Nam-Joo
Kerador: read a book from an ongoing series – The Missing Page by Cat Sebastian
Human: read a contemporary/non-fiction book – The Long Game by Rachel Reid

Are you joining the Magical Readathon? What books are on your TBR? Let me know!

The amount of time and imagination she put into this is so impressive! Good luck with your reading!

I’m looking forward to doing the magical readathon again. I can’t believe how much work G put into overhauling it, it’s crazy impressive. I still have to work out what I’m going to do for my TBR though. 😊
Good luck!
