Read in 2020

This is a list of all the books I’ve read in 2020!

Here’s my answers to questions before you ask:

  • Yes, I have read a lot of books, I am a very fast reader. I manage about 100 pages per hour.
  • Yes, I read audiobooks, which is also the reason I have read so many books.
  • Yes, audiobooks count as real reading. If you disagree, then that’s incredibly ableist.

I’ve also included a little key to indicate which books are the best ones I’ve read this year, and which ones are now an all-time favourite. As you can see, there are some books I’ve rated 5 stars that I don’t consider the best of 2020 and some that I’ve rated 4 stars that I do consider the best of 2020. This is because a book that I rated 5 stars might resonate deeply and personally with me, but I know that an element of the book — perhaps the writing — wasn’t strong and therefore I don’t think is the best book I’ve read for 2019. I tend to rate quite a few books 5 stars for how it affected me. Hopefully that makes sense 😅

🏅 = best of 2020
💖 = now an all-time favourite
