Welp — it’s officially halfway through the year and I can’t believe it. Time has flown by so fast when you’re stuck in lockdown, let out for a month, and then back in lockdown again. How has everyone else’s half a year been? What’s gotten me through this month in particular has been watching Loki, which I am LOVING. It’s one of the best shows ever and the finale is tonight — I have high hopes and I sorely hope I’m not disappointed!
Onto the wrap up!
Read: 3 books, 2 audiobooks
Book of the month
I adored Role Model, the fifth book in the Game Changers series. Rachel Reid’s books get better and better with each addition! I love Troy (the character on the cover) so much: he has so much anxiety and despair, and it was amazing reading him learning to overcome that by being true to himself — with some help from his love interest, Harris. And Harris is cinnamon role incarnate. It’s just such a good book!

If I hadn’t made it clear yet, I am LOVING Loki so damn much! Tom Hiddleston is amazing in this, it’s his best performance of Loki yet! Can’t wait for the finale tonight 😭 If Kang doesn’t end up being the creator of the TVA, I’m gonna be mad.
I’ve also been rewatching a lot of Marvel films because I’ve been in the mood. I’ve watched: Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2, Dr Strange, Avengers, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. I still plan to watch a few more films before I’m done. Getting back into my Marvel obsession has been rough lmao. But it’s been fun as I’m rewatching films I didn’t like that much at the time but now I’m realising are amazing, like Dr Strange.
Looking forward: July
