Blogmas #1: November Wrap Up

Hi all!

So I very impulsively decided to participate in Blogmas this year, which I’ve never done before. Please wish me luck! Over the course of the weekend, I wrote out 12 posts and I’m so tired 😭 But at least I have a good chance of doing well in Blogmas!

This month I sort of disappeared which I didn’t mean to? I just got very busy with work and couldn’t post much on here. So please ignore how small this wrap-up is. But you’re about to see me overly compensate with that by posting everyday for Blogmas.

Books read

Read: 3 books, 3 audiobooks, 1 graphic novel

Book of the Month

This book was so intense and captivating, I couldn’t put it down! It’s about Dracula’s voyage to England, which is skipped over in the original novel. In The Route of Ice & Salt, the captain of the ship, who is gay, has deep sexual feelings for his crew, which become unbearable when Dracula starts manipulating everyone on board the ship.

Corpse Bride (2005) - IMDb

This month, I didn’t watch as much as I hoped to. But I did watch two movies! The first was Corpse Bride which I loved so much! I seriously think it’s a new favourite! The music was so beautiful, as well as the aesthetic. I just want to watch it all over again.

Then I also watched The Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time which was fantastic too! Combining Halloween and Christmas? Yes please! I did prefer Corpse Bride a bit more, but this was still great.

Looking forward: December

This month, I’m participating in Blogmas, so I will be posting a blog post each day until Christmas! And then probably even more as I share my favourites of 2020!

I think something was definitely in the air as Blogmas was quite an impulsive decision for me too, especially as I’ve never done it before. Hopefully it will pay off for both of us.
