Hi all!
Hope you’re doing well during these difficult times!
Wow … September is over and it’s already October, a.k.a Spooky Season? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? I swear, it’s still April!
Anyway, this month I didn’t do much aside from work (I work full-time now) and binge watch South Park (someone stop me, lmao).
What have you been up to?

Books read

Read: 3 books, 4 audiobooks (1 reread)
Book of the Month
Wow, this hasn’t happened in a while: TWO best books of the month! I couldn’t choose which of these two books was better, so I had to choose them both.
Piranesi is an experience and a half. I don’t want to say too much about the plot because the less you know about it the better your reading experience will be, but it’s about a man who lives in a House that is the entire World with just another man called the Other. Read this deeply evocative, beautifully written novel!
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is so incredible! This is going to be one of my favourite novels ever. Schwab has really knocked it out of the park with his novel. It follows a girl who makes a deal with the Darkness for immortality but she is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets. So she spends her life becoming an artistic muse to people.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been binge-watching South Park. I have no idea

why, it’s not even that good, but it’s just something very easy to have on in the background without having to concentrate, I guess.
I also watched The Mummy Returns. I love this movie — it makes actually no sense, but it’s just so damn fun!
I also watched The Devil All the Time which I didn’t like. I thought it would be a good movie but it ended up being something very different then what I thought it would be. I think if it didn’t have such a star-studded cast, no one would have cared lol.
Looking forward: October
Reviews to come:
- When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole
- Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Tentative TBR:

HOW WAS YOUR SEPTEMBER? WHAT BOOKS DID YOU READ? WHAT SHOWS ARE YOU WATCHING? LET ME KNOW!
