Hi all!
I hope everyone is doing well during these turbulent times. Today, I’ll be taking part in the WWW meme!

WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Basically, this tag involves answering the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you plan on reading next?

What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo, which one the Booker Prize last year. I’ve heard really good things about this book and I’m really interested in it so far. I’m only three chapters in but each chapter (section, more like) follows a different character. So I’m up to the third character so far.
I was super lucky to receive an ARC of KJ Charles’ new novel The Sugared Game, which is the second book in The Will Darling Chronicles, and comes out August 26. I’m LOVING this so far: the relationship between Will and Kim is so well developed and I can’t stop making this face at them: 🥺.

What did you recently finish?
I WAS SO DAMN LUCKY TO RECEIVE AN ARC OF BROTHERSONG BY TJ KLUNE! I’m still freaking out over it, to be honest! This is the last book in the Green Creek series, and when I say we’ve been waiting for it, I really mean it: it was supposed to come out last December, then got pushed back to August this year … then got pushed back again to October! But it’s worth the wait: I cried, I laughed, I cried again. You’re all going to love it! My review will be coming out closer to the release date.
I really enjoyed There Will Come a Darkness, which was surprising! I listened to it on audiobook and I found the first part a bit slow but interesting; but then parts 2 and 3 were incredible and I couldn’t stop listening! There’s lots of plot twists and great characters. I’m really excited for the sequel coming out soon.
I loved The White Road by Lynn Flewelling! It’s the fifth book in the Nightrunner series, which I’ve been reading so slowly. But I managed to read two books in the series this year (and the short story collection, Glimpses) so far and I plan on finishing the remaining two novels. I also adored Glimpses, which is so damn cute! I loved seeing Seregil when he was young a surly, and I loved seeing Alec’s parents meet and fall in love! Alec was so cute as a little boy 😭.

What are you planning on reading next?
I need to read Los Nefilim next! It’s on my TBR for The Failed Readathon Readathon, which I’ve been really good at following! I’m really excited to read this, as I’ve heard only good things.
I also need to read The Luminous Dead soon, before my Scribd membership runs out 😅. I’m not the biggest fan of horror, but this is sapphic and I’ve heard amazing things — I’ve heard it’s super tense and leaves you on the edge of your seat, which is exactly what I love in books!
I don’t know much about Sisters of the Vast Black, but I think it’s sapphic! It’s about nuns in space … and that’s all I know.

HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS? WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO READ NEXT? LET ME KNOW!

I finished Under Locke this weekend and now I’m reading I Owe you One.

I am currently in kind of a reading slump. 😅 I blame it on the fact that I am waiting for a new book to arrive, Spin the Dawn. I have nothing to read at the moment. My last read was And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini.
