Hi all!
I hope everyone is doing well during these turbulent times. Today, I’ll be taking part in the WWW meme!
WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Basically, this tag involves answering the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you plan on reading next?
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
I’m reading the fourth book in the Nightrunner series, Shadows Return. I’m enjoying it even though I know it’s about to bring me pain, as both of the main characters were kidnapped into slavery and separated.
I’m also reading Before the Coffee Gets Cold which I’m not enjoying as much as I thought! I’ve only read the first short story but the writing and the plot frustrated. I’m going to keep reading it and hopefully I’ll enjoy the book.
I’m writing book reviews for a fantasy and sci-fi magazine and Threading the Labyrinth is for my first review! It’s about an American woman who inherits an English countryside mansion and the garden attached to it; when she travels over to view it, she finds the garden is haunted. I’m really enjoying it so far!
And lastly I’m reading the third book in The Mortal Instruments series, City of Glass. This is a buddy read (and reread for me) with my friend Beth and we’re close to finishing!

What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished V for Vendetta which I really enjoyed, even though it was different from what I expected. 4 stars
I was really disappointed in Empire of Sand! I thought I would love it but it kind of bored me. I think because I listened to the audiobook and the narrator’s voice kept frustrating me, I didn’t like it as much. Maybe if I had read it physically, I would have enjoyed it, but I have no brain power right now to read anything physically. 3 stars

What are you planning on reading next?
I’m hoping to read these three books soon! King and the Dragonflies looks amazing and I have a feeling I’m going to cry. Also one of my friends highly recommends The Remaking of Corbin Wale so I’m hoping I like it just as much! And I’ve heard nothing but good things about The Luminous Dead.

HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS? WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO READ NEXT? LET ME KNOW!
