Hi all!
Hope everyone is staying safe during these difficult times. I am sending extra love and support to my Black American friends. The senseless murder of not only George Floyd but countless other Black people is horrific, and I hope these protests — which I wholeheartedly support — might finally develop much-needed change.
In Victoria, lockdown is slowly easing down after two months of tough restrictions. But there’s still a lot of Covid-19 cases developing and schools in my area have been shut down, so I’ve got a feeling we’re going to be back in lockdown soon.
Wherever you are in the world, I hope you’re safe!

Books read

11 books: 4 books, 4 audiobooks, 2 graphic novels, 1 novella
Book of the month

I was so lucky to receive an ARC of this book and devoured it within a few days, along with Ash @ Wild Heart Reads. The Memory of Souls is the third book in the A Chorus of Dragons series by Jenn Lyons. The first book is The Ruin of Kings, and the second The Name of All Things. It will be published in August 2020. My review will be out soon but I’ll I say is: iconic!

Again, I want to thank Ash @ Wild Heart Reads for sending me The Perfect Assassin! I can’t wait to read it!
Non-Bookish Stuff
Of course, the best thing that happened this month was Lady Gaga’s new album dropping! I’m a massive fan of hers and I completely adore Chromatica. So far, my favourite songs are “Sine From Above”, “Alice”, “Repeat”, “Sour Candy”, “Stupid Love”, and “Babylon”. Definitely give the album a listen!

The final season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power came out and it was amazing! I can’t get over it! I’m not going to spoil it for anyone, but let’s just say if you’re worried the show is going to queer bait: don’t be worried!
I also became obsessed with a Taiwanese show called History 3: Trapped and I’m going to need everyone to watch it! It’s about a police officer named Meng Shaofei who, for the past four years, has been trying to arrest a gangster named

Tang Yi who was the only survivor of a shooting that took the life of Meng Shaofei’s mentor and another gangster. But soon Meng Shaofei and Tang Yi get caught up in a case together and start to fall in love.
I started getting into BLACKPINK, a Kpop girl group and have been non-stop bingeing they songs. I love one of the rappers, Lisa, and I can’t stop watching her dances!

Looking forward: June
Genuinely cannot believe it’s already June, what the hell? Creeps me out.
Anyway…
