Hi all!
Hope you’ve had a good April! For me, it lasted about 6 minutes when March lasted literally six months but okay.
This month, I read a lot of audiobooks because my brain just couldn’t deal with physical books (ignoring the fact that one of the books I physically read was 2,500 pages long haha).
Anyway, wherever you are in the world, I hope you’re safe!

Book of the Month
I adored Heaven’s Official Blessing so freaking much. This book is massive: it’s 2,000 pages long but I loved every minutes of it.
The book follows Xie Lian, an immortal who has ascended to godhood three times, after being kicked down twice before, as he goes on adventures with the feared Ghost King, Hua Cheng, who just happens to be Xie Lian’s last believer.
The romance between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng is incredible; if you love slow burns — and I mean SLOW BURNS — then you will love this book because it takes ages for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng to kiss. But it is so worth it as well, especially when you find out why Hua Cheng worships Xie Lian.

I finally got my Fairyloot Chain of Gold collector’s box! I really like the box, except I’m wondering at the purpose of that massive wall tapestry because … well, what am I going to do with it? lol.
Non-bookish stuff
This month, I watched the final season of Schitt’s Creek which was great! I think they ended it really well and gave each character the ending they truly deserved.
I also spent each Saturday this month watching Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musicals on YouTube and I’ve been enjoying them so much! I watched Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Phantom of the Opera. They’re all fantastic and I’m so excited to keep watching them.
Looking forward: May

Wow, congrats on reading so many books! How did you like My Dark Vanessa? It’s been very hyped lately!

Thank you! My Dark Vanessa was good but darker than I thought! I thought it would focus more on the main character trying to heal but instead it focused more on her relationship with her teacher. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wish I had known that when I went into it
