Hi all!
I hope everyone is doing well during these turbulent times. Today, I’ll be taking part in the WWW meme!
WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Basically, this tag involves answering the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you plan on reading next?
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
I’m currently reading The Library of the Unwritten and I’m loving it so far! It’s a great adventure novel that is super fast-paced, and I’m loving all the characters so far. I think my favourites are Leto and Rami.
I’m also still reading The City We Became and Prince’s Gambit, which I was reading last week, because my dumbass thought it was a great idea to read 5 books at once over the week.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH?
I LOVED THIS! This was the Slytherin romance of my dreams! I could relate to Alessandra way too much as a fellow Slytherin. She would get annoyed at people over such small things and, wow, that’s me, haha! And I also loved the romance between her and the Shadow King. Loved this. 5 stars!
I liked Daisy Jones & the Six much more than I thought I would! It didn’t go in the direction I thought it would, but I wasn’t mad at it. The book focused A LOT of drugs, which was expected, but what I didn’t expect was the massive focus on romance. I thought it would be more about the lead-up to the band breaking up, and while it kind of did, it wasn’t in the way I expected. But I still enjoyed it. 4 stars.
This was another book that didn’t go in the direction I thought it would, but again, I’m not mad at it. It focused a lot on Vanessa in the past meeting her teacher and falling into an incredibly toxic relationship with him, and barely any focus on her as an adult learning to heal from the past. But it was still an important read. 4 stars.
WHAT DO YOU PLAN ON READING NEXT?
I was so lucky to receive an ARC of this book by the author (especially because I’m a massive fan of hers) and I’m so excited to read this! It’s been a while since I’ve read a KJ book, and I have high hopes for this. Absolutely no idea what this is about and I don’t care, I know I’m gonna love it!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this Japanese novel and I’m keen to see if I love it as much as everyone else. It’s about a coffee store that has a seat that allows you to time travel, but you need to be back before the coffee gets cold.
The Shadows Between Us sounds like my kind of book, I am definitely adding it to the TBR!!!

The Shadows Between Us was so much fun. I LOVED Alessandra’s sour personality and her relationship with Kallias was so cute. They’re perfectly suited to each other haha
