Hi all!
I found this awesome original idea over on Sakhile @ Sakhile Whispers‘ blog and knew I had to join in ASAP! Thanks to Sakhile for hosting this challenge! I can’t wait to finally be forced to finish this series!
I don’t know how well I’m going to achieve this challenge as I’m very much a mood reader who can force herself to do structured TBRs when she has to — but I’m going to try.
I’m going to add this caveat which I doubt I will follow through on, but we’ll see:
I will not start another series until I finish one I had already started.
Watch me fail though!
Rules:
- Pick a book that’s part of a series each month to read.
- Tag the creator
- The book must have been published pre-2020
- For every book that’s part of the challenge which you finish you get a star
- This challenge will run from the 1st of January 2020 to the 31st of December 2020
- Use the hashtag #completeaserieschallenge on Instagram or Twitter to keep track of your progress and what others are reading.
- Have fun, don’t think about it too much.
TBR
I’ve read the first book in this series and then never got around to reading the remaining two. I don’t know why, because I adored the first book! So I’ll be rereading the first book and then continuing with the last two.
This is another case of me reading the first book in a series, loving it, and then for some reason not continuing on. Definitely need to Finnish this series ASAP.
Omg, I’ve been meaning to finish Nightrunner for almost a year now! The first three books are amazing and can easily become on of my favourite series of all time … if I can just finish the last four books!
I loved the first book in this series The Bone Season and need to read books 2 and 3 before 4 is published. I absolutely adore Samantha Shannon’s The Priory of the Orange Tree and am making it my mission to read everything she writes.
What is it with me and reading the first book in a series and then that’s it? Ugh! I’m really intrigued to find out what happens to the couples in this series!
I need to find out what happens to this enemies to lovers lesbian couple! Also: killer mermaids!
These are the last two books in the Howl’s Moving Castle and I’m so excited for them! They don’t follow Howl anymore, they follow new characters, but I still want to see where the series goes.
This is the last book in the At First Sight series and the only reason I haven’t read it yet is because I’ve been waiting for the audiobook to come out.
I absolutely adored the first book in the Wayward Children series, so I can’t wait to get the chance to binge the remaining books!
One book left in this duology about lesbian pirates! Can’t wait for it.
This is a fantastic challenge and one I absolutely need. For now though I think I am going to stick with my informal resolution to stick to owned books, series sequels and ARCs in the new year.
Good luck!

What a fantastic challenge! One of my 2019 resolutions was to finish off a number of my already-started series books and I did….meh. Maybe this is the kind of thing I need to finish off the rest of my series books! Good luck!

Ahh, I hope you love the rest of the DOSAB trilogy. It was one of my absolute faves when I read it in 2017!!
