#BookStanAThon TBR!

Hi all!

I recently discovered the #StanAThon on Twitter just yesterday and I immediately had to sign up for it! The readathon is based on Stan Twitter and the phrases/vines that we quote a lot. And since I am a massive vine follower, y’all know I had to sign up asap!

The readathon is hosted by Chanelle @ Chanelle Time and Allison @ The Owl Court. It runs from September 1-15, your time. You don’t have to do every prompt, you just have to complete one bingo line!

White Boy of the Month: Read a cliche romance book

I’ve read two of Talia Hibbert’s novels and adore them so much, so I think its about time I read more of her work. Her books are typical cliche romance books, but almost all romance books feature some kind of cliche so I’m including it. I think in this book the boss writes up a contract between him and his love interest for sex so … pretty cliche trope to me! I’m so excited for this book!

Locals pls don’t interact: Read a mutual’s favourite book

This book was recommended to me by a mutual on Twitter and it sounded right up my alley when they told me about it! Urban fantasy, queer characters, political intrigue, ATLANTIS??? Um, yes please!

Ah shit, here we go again: Read a book featuring your favourite trope

My favourite trope is super, super, super slow burn and I’ve heard that Orientation by Gregory Ashe has that trope so I’m picking that! Apparently, the characters don’t even get together in this book (which is the first of the series). This is also the chosen book club book for Reads Rainbow!
