Hi all!
It’s time for another post in the ABC Book Challenge series, one coming out each week for 26 weeks! I originally saw this post over on Jacquie @ Rattle the Stars‘ blog — please go check out Jacquie’s incredible blog!
You might have noticed that I’ve skipped the letter ‘X’! That’s because I have never read a book that starts with ‘X’, nor do I have any books on my TBR that start with ‘X’ either … so skipping right past that letter to ‘Y’!
MEMORABLE TITLES THAT START WITH “Y”
The Young Elites is the first book in an amazing series, where the main character is a villain named Adelina Amouteru. You’ve probably seen me scream about her before, because I love her so much. Definitely read this book. I read Year of Wonders in high school and loved it. It’s about a woman named Anna, set over the course of one year of her life, when the plague comes to her village and she loses everyone she’s ever cared about, but makes some friends too. It’s a wonderful novel and I highly recommend it. Y: The Last Man is a graphic novel series about a young man named Yorick Brown who becomes the last man on Earth after something kills off every man on the planet, leaving women only. I quite liked this graphic novel when I read it, but never ended up finishing it! Probably should!
BOOKS STARTING WITH “Y” ON MY TBR
You. Forever. Always. is the last book in The Underdogs series, a m/m romance series set around the members of a rock band. The other two books are pretty average — fun, but average — but I’m really excited for this last book because I love Mage and Dawn! Mage is the best friend of the leader of the band and Dawn is his little brother, and they’ve been friends for years! Slow-burn, friends to lovers with a very shy MC? Hell yeah! Yellow is a #LoveOzYA novel about a fourteen-year-old girl who makes a pact with a ghost: she’ll find out who murdered him, if he does three things for her. It looks really awesome.
The Yearbook Committee by Sarah Ayoub comes to mind. Set in Sydney so it a LoveOZYA book.
Five teenagers in their final year are put together to help with the yearbook. An updated The Breakfast Club in a way.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with a title that starts with “Y.”
