MEMORABLE TITLES THAT START WITH “S”

The Song of Achilles is one of my favourite novels ever! Madeline Miller is a genius and I highly, highly recommend this novel if you want to cry. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a gorgeous, beautiful novel about a bisexual Cuban actress who falls in love with a woman in the 1950s. Incredible. The Secret History is a wild ride of a novel — it features some horrible people making terrible decisions, but you can’t stop reading. A Seditious Affair is an amazing novel by one of my favourite author KJ Charles about a radical writer and a home office gentleman whose job it is to hunt the radical down for treason. I adore it.

Scorpio Hates Virgo is the second book in the Signs of Love series and it’s a fluffy joy, with a little angst — but so adorable. Shadow and Bone is the first book in the Grisha series, and I know not a lot of people like this series (they prefer Six of Crows) but I love Alina’s story. Strange the Dreamer is an incredible fantasy novel — literally the best one I’ve ever read, I highly recommend. The Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal is an awesome novel by KJ again, and it’s a gay version of Sherlock Holmes, so you already know it’s amazing.

 

BOOKS STARTING WITH “S” ON MY TBR

I absolutely love The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet, a YouTube series, so I’m excited for the book. Sense and Sensibility is an Austen novel and I’m making it my mission to read every Austen novel. She Whom I Love is a Victorian m/f/m novel about acting and it honestly looks amazing, so keen for it. Starworld isn’t coming out til next year, but it’s about two girls who text and fall in love with one another, and it looks adorable.
