It’s time for another post in the ABC Book Challenge series, one coming out each week for 26 weeks! I originally saw this post over on Jacquie @ Rattle the Stars‘ blog — please go check out Jacquie’s incredible blog!
MEMORABLE TITLES THAT START WITH “G”
The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue is the sweetest, most fun YA novel I’ve ever read! I adore Monty, Percy and Felicity! A Gathering Storm is an awesome historical m/m romance featuring two main characters: one is half-Romani, and the other is a rich man who suffers from a damaged larynx. A Gentleman’s Position is the last book in my favourite m/m series by KJ Charles, about a relationship between an aristocrat and his valet (you do need to read the other two books to understand this one — do it.) If you haven’t read Gone Girl, what are you doing with your life? If you want to be fucked up, read it!!
BOOKS STARTING WITH “G” ON MY TBR
My favourite author C.S. Pacat says that Dorothy Dunnet’s Lymond Chronicles is her favourite series ever, so you know I need to read The Game of Kings ASAP. I really love Donna Tartt’s The Secret History and I really want to read The Goldfinch, which is supposed to be incredible. Gone with the Wind is one my Classics Club TBR, and I know it’s really long, but people have told me that it’s very readable. I’ve been trying to read Godsgrave, the second Nevernight series, for ages and I don’t know what’s stopping me, but I will soon.
