The ABC Book Challenge | “C”

Hi all!

It’s time for another post in the ABC Book Challenge series, one coming out each week for 26 weeks! I originally saw this post over on Jacquie @ Rattle the Stars‘ blog — please go check out Jacquie’s incredible blog!

MEMORABLE TITLES THAT START WITH “C”

I read The Catcher in the Rye in my first year of university, and hated a good portion of the book, until about halfway through when I started to love it, and then cried about it. EVERYONE KNOWS HOW MUCH I LOVE CAPTIVE PRINCE SO I DON’T REALLY HAVE TO SHOUT ABOUT MUCH. I adore The Mortal Instruments series, so City of Bones as the first book that started it all is super memorable and amazing. And of course I adore Carry On because of the characters and the way it’s inspired by Harry Potter but with a queer twist, where Draco and Harry get together.

BOOKS STARTING WITH “C” ON MY TBR

Technically, Carol is actually called The Price of Salt but whatever, it’s also known as Carol, as it’s based on the movie with Cate Blanchett — and I can’t wait to read it! Everyone and their mother loves Children of Blood and Bone and, recently, my friend read it in just two days, and has been yelling at me to read it! I have no idea what Carry the Ocean is about, but I know it’s m/m and so many people seem to love it! Will I ever read Circe? It’s been out since April and I still haven’t 😭.
