Marvel-A-Thon Sign Up and TBR!

Hi all!!

The very lovely Jamieson @jamishelves has recently announced her new and amazing read-a-thon called the Marvel-A-Thon: a month long reading challenge based upon the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Umm… hell yeah!! I obviously had to join, being a massive Marvel fan. Also, I have been looking for a read-a-thon to join for ages now, so shout out to Jamieson for creating such a cool one!

Read-A-Thon Info:

  • The Marvel-A-Thon will run from midnight June 1st  and end June 30th, midnight, in your time zone.
  • The read-a-thon is split into three stages: each stage focussed on the three phases of the MCU, with one reading challenge per movie from that phase.
  • The goal: to read a book for every single movie – 21 movies!!
  • Everyone starts in Phase One and you can only move onto the next phase until you’ve completed each challenge in that phase.

The Rules:

  • The aim of this challenge is to read as many books as you can, and to finish the challenge you reach the final movie in the MCU phase three (Avengers 4)
  • You can read books in any order WITHIN phases, but need to complete the phase to move onto the next one.
  • We’ve all skipped watching a Marvel movie here and there, which means you’re allowed two skips per phase, and skips can be rolled over into the next phase if they’re not used. So in total you have 6 skips to play with.
  • You can’t use one book for multiple challenges; one book per category must be read.
  • Books can be ANYTHING and any length. Audiobooks, ebooks, graphic novels, comics, fanfics and anything else you can think of.
