I’m two days late, and haven’t done a T5W in ages, but when I realised that m/m couples was the topic for this week, and f/f couples is the topic for next, I was so ridiculously excited and couldn’t stop myself from participating!!
5. Silas and Dominic from A Seditious Affair by KJ Charles
Ok, so Dom and Silas have the most intellectual and bookish relationship ever, they’re amazing. I love how much they adore each other, and how loving they are. They’re supportive and protective and so so so in love, I die. Please read KJ’s amazing novel and the series it’s a part of!

4. Andrew and Neil from All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic
Andrew and Neil start off as enemies and very slowly (Andrew probably wouldn’t even admit it) become friends then lovers. It is the slowest of slow burns and is absolutely amazing when it pays off. You don’t see the relationship coming until on your second read of the book. But they’re amazing together, because they both think they’re damaged and broken, and still fit so well together. They understand one another. Read the books, and if you want an incredible fan fiction about Andrew and Neil that basically reads as the unofficial fourth book in the series, check out Lessons in Cartography here.
3. Raymond and David from Sunset Park and Interborough by Santino Hassell
Ray and David kill me so much because they are so perfect for one another. Raymond is a bi-curious scrub – his words – who plays games and smokes weed all day and David is a high maintenance teacher, but somehow they fit. They teach each other how to do better in life, and they’re incredibly supportive of one another. They go from friends to roommates to lovers, and if they don’t get married soon, I’m suing Santino Hassell. Read all the books in the series and die along with me.
2. Theo and Jaime from Leo Loves Aries by Anyta Sunday
If you know me at all, you know I absolutely adore Leo Loves Aries. Theo and Jaime are Anyta Sunday’s best romance couple, I love them so much. They’re roommates first and eventually become lovers, but Theo is straight when they meet, so has to come to terms with the fact that he may be bi. He’s also incredibly oblivious to Jaime’s feelings for him. They connect through cooking, witty banter, and economics because they’re both geeks. Read this amazing book and laugh with me! And remember that Jaime had to tie Theo to him when they were cooking because Theo kept getting distracted. When will your fave ever???
1. Damen and Laurent from the Captive Prince series
Honestly, if you didn’t guess this would be my number one, do you even know me at all??? Damen and Laurent give me all the feels, and have been for over 10 years now. I started reading this series in high school when it was just an original story on LiveJournal, and my love for these two men has never faded. They go from the most bitter of enemies – Damen KILLED Laurent’s BROTHER – to forced allies to friends to lovers to soulmates in the span of three books. Such a long, slow burn but so worth the wait. These two have sacrificed so much for the other because they’re in love. I cry every time I think about them. Read these amazing books and become obsessed for the next ten years.
Magnus and Alec from The Mortal Instruments series | Achilles and Patroclus from The Song of Achilles, Luke and Jeremy from The Uncrossing, Simon and Baz from Carry On, Ronan and Adam from The Raven Cycle, Ari and Dante from Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Murdo and David from Enlightenment series, Knight and Elliot from My Dark Knight.
What are your favourite m/m couples? What are your favourite m/m books? Make sure you also participate in next week’s t5w which will feature f/f couples! Because in this house we love and support wlw as much as mlm.
