The Narnia Tag

Another tag, how exciting!!! (Even though I’ve never read/watched The Chronicles of Narnia 🙈). So I was tagged by two fabulous people, Nadwa @ Painfully Fictional and Princess @ Royal Reader. Everyone please go check out their incredible blogs! These two ladies are sweethearts and such wonderful people to talk to. ❤️

This tag was created by Clémence @Clemi’s Bookish World.

NARNIA – A magical world you would like to visit?

strangethedreamer-postcards_page_1_image_0001

I would love to visit the City of Weep from Strange the Dreamer! It seems like such a fascinating place and I’d love to learn more about the gods and where they came from. (Even though I know they’re evil.)

THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW – A book you think is underrated?

theragingquiet

Oh this book is just gorgeous. It’s an old YA, set in medieval England, about a young, widowed woman who is accused of being a witch and a young deaf man. Such a sweet romance, that not a lot of people have read. Please do so!

THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE – A classic that you love?

pride-and-prejudice_bn

Did I even need to write this? No, you all know it’s my fave.

THE HORSE AND HIS BOY – A book you picked up without knowing what it was about?

my-lady-jane

I THOUGHT I knew what this book was about and turned out I didn’t! I thought it was a YA historical novel about the life of Lady Jane Grey and it is … to an extent. It’s a complete rewriting of the tragic life of Lady Jane Grey and King Edward VI with shapeshifters. It sounds ridiculous but it’s amazing.

PRINCE CASPIAN – A sequel that you loved?

therosesociety

The Rose Society has to be my most favourite sequel ever. The first book was great, but the second book smacks it out of the park. So incredible. READ THIS SERIES.

THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER – A quest you’d like to be a part of?

6ofcrows

The quest in Six of Crows would be amazing to be a part of. Working under Kaz Brekker would be terrifying, but I’d have fun with Nina and Jesper. Also, the world of Six of Crows is incredible and so fascinating.

THE SILVER CHAIR – A book you didn’t expect to love?

jellicoe

I read this book in high school and almost gave up on it. I only persevered because I love the author. It wasn’t until the 100 page mark that the novel started getting good, but once it did, I couldn’t put it down!

THE LAST BATTLE – A perfect ending to a series you love?

17158532

Ohhhhh this book tore out my heart and left me for dead. It was so beautiful and surprisingly tender, but it also answered all the questions that had been bubbling since book one.

THE PEVENSIES – A siblinghood or friendship you’d love to be a part of?

Fall_TMI

I think everyone knows how much I love The Mortal Instruments so I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I’d love to be part of their friendship group. Izzy would be my BFF.

EUSTACE SCRUBB – A character who grew on you?

0dcad2b2e32a752cc5328fb9aa2af90f-chairman-meow-simon-shadowhunters

I hate saying because I love him now, but Simon used to get on my nerves. I hated him with Clary, then I didn’t really like him with Izzy because their relationship felt forced to me, but then I read the collection of short stories about him – Tales of Shadowhunter Academy – and love him now.

TUMNUS – Your favourite mystical creature?

giphy

DRAGONS, OF COURSE!! 🐉

REEPICHEEP – A loyal character?

percy

PERCY JACKSON. This cutie is one of the most loyal characters ever, he will never let you down. Adore him.

THE WARDROBE – Your favourite hideout/place to read?

Not really a hideout, but the couch in my livingroom! It’s so big and comfy and I like to snuggle up with a blanket and a cup of tea. If someone is in there already, then I migrate to my bedroom.

Thank you for tagging me. I’m not blogging so much at the moment but when I get back into it, this tag will be the first thing I’ll do because I love the Narnia world. In fact, it was the first fantasy world I fell in love with!

I’ve never heard of The Raging Quiet before but it is one that has now grabbed my attention. I hope I can find a copy of it somewhere.

Thanks so much for the tag! I already did this one a while back though. I might do it again, maybe with different answers but I’m not sure yet. But thanks again!

And the wold of Strange the Dreamer seems like such an interesting place to go. Minus, of course, the cruel gods and giant floating angle, I would love to visit the city of Weep. I cannot wait for Muse of Nightmares!
