7 Facts About Myself:
I am completing a Master in Publishing and Communications! My ultimate dream is to work for Penguin Random House one day in the Young Adult department.
I am a writer! I’ve been working on a m/m fantasy duology for a few years, and I’m currently working on a four book YA fantasy about witches with a f/m/f love triangle. I know most of you don’t like love triangles, and neither do I, but trust me – it will work.
I ALWAYS leave the house with a book in my handbag or backpack. I don’t care how heavy my bag is, or that I might not even get a chance to read, I just don’t feel comfortable going somewhere without a book.
I have two pet budgies named Leonardo and Michelangelo! We just discovered that Leonardo is a girl, but I refuse to change her name. We call her Leo for short now, which doesn’t really help.
I am a massive binge-watcher. Literally am unable to watch one episode of a show at a time. I wait for a whole season of a show to be released before I start watching it. I’m currently binge-watching Malcolm in the Middle now and I just finished watching One Day At A Time.
I am really short! No, really short. I’m exactly five foot and even when I wear heels, I’m still the shortest person in the room. My ten-year-old brother is almost as tall as me – he’s up to my nose now. Not a great feeling to be the eldest sibling, and the shortest too.
My absolute favourite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Honourable mentions go to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Captive Prince by C.S. Pacat and From Hell by Alan Moore.
I nominate:
Tiana @ The Book Raven
Nadwa @ Painfully Fictional
Danielle @ Books, Vertigo and Tea
Mandy @ Book Princess Reviews
Princess @ Royal Reader
Danielle @ Pretty Mess Reading
Stephanie @ Teacher of YA
Angelica @ The Book Cover Girls
I look forward to reading about you guys! (That is not supposed to sound creepy) 😀

Leonardo and Michelangelo…. like Michelangelo the sculptor? ❤ I’m sorry, it’s my history geek getting the better of me. Great tag, Laura!!

Congrats on the nomination! I take a book with me wherever I go as well! Even if I’m going to lunch with a friend I will still bring one with me…it’s like a security blanket! Awesome post 😊

Yes, a security blanket, that’s a great way to describe it ! Even if I know I won’t get a chance to read, I need that book nearby lol. Glad to know someone else feels the same 😀

Thanks so much for the nomination! I also hate watching single episodes. I am a binge watcher and I am proud! I have to wait for it all to come out on Netflix or something. The only show I watch episode by episode is Game of Thrones and that’s the only execption.

You’re welcome!!! Lol same for me! I need to watch Game of Thrones as soon as an episode comes out – most likely because I will get spoiled it I don’t lol.

Yes! I honestly don’t understand how spoilers get out so fast! That’s a not a show you can slack off with. I’m super excited for season 7.

I am a massive binge-watcher too! That’s when I get into a show I end up watching all the seasons in a week. ❤

Yes! There’s just something so relaxing about sitting in front of the tv for days in a row and just watching lol. Of course I procrastinate through binge-watching too, but oh well.

What a cool masters. I hope you do get to work for Penguin Books. And P&P is my favorite movie, but I didn’t love the book as much. Maybe I need to give it another chance. I love Emma, though.

Thank you!! I hope so too, lol 😀 I love the P&P movie as well, and the book is just amazing. I laugh after almost every line haha. I DNF’d Emma! I just couldn’t get into it, but I will read it again one day 😀

Haha. I had to listen to an audiobook of it or I wouldn’t have gotten through. I’ll give P&P another try 🙂
